About
WELCOME to the Hendricks County Youth Assistance Program.
The Hendricks County Youth Assistance Program (HCYAP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that operates with a Board of Directors, Program Director, Early Intervention Advocates, and Volunteers. Our first initiative is the Mentoring Component which will serve Kindergarten through High School students and is intended to provide youth and children with adult companionship and opportunities that may not be otherwise available to them and, in turn, build character and trust, self-worth, confidence, respect, responsibility, integrity, motivation, direction and enhance overall development.
VISION
Investing in, assisting, and empowering vulnerable youth and families in Hendricks County by engaging our community to help them realize their self-worth, embrace the joy of learning, and achieve their full potential.
MISSION
The Hendricks County Youth Assistance Program serves as a voluntary early intervention and advocacy process for at-risk youth and families in Hendricks County. HCYAP engages the community holistically and brings together individuals, businesses, faith-based, and other nonprofit organizations to provide support, enrichment, and opportunities for youth and their parents and caregivers.
